Upgrading with the Farm Manager

For a major release or an architecture update using the Farm Manager, complete these tasks:

✔	Task
❑	Import the new IPF architecture version.
❑	Update the Control Service IPF Version for the farm.
❑	Create a new IPF instance.
❑	Add the new IPF instance to the portal(s).
❑	Update the IPF and/or portal content version. This is necessary only if a new content version is included with the IPF architecture upgrade.
