Installation prerequisites

Before you begin a portal installation, review these prerequisites:

• Check the documentation on the Infor Support Portal for the current version of this installation guide.
• If you use a URL rewrite tool, review Understanding portal URL handling for custom reverse proxy.
• If this is not the first time you have installed IPF portals, and you want to have a clean installation — that is, nothing preserved from the previous installation — portals must be completely uninstalled. See Uninstalling.
