Content development

The Content Versions tab under Content Development is used for working with custom content versions for the current portal. All open-for-development, custom content versions from the Content Activations tab are displayed on this Content Versions tab; however, only the content version that is set as the editable originator on the Developer Options tab can be modified here.

For the editable content version, you can perform these tasks:

• Add or modify the description.
• Set the minimum IPF version.
• Add or remove features for the content version.
• Change the feature of a portal component.
• Lock the content version.
• Revert, to cancel changes and unlock the version.
  Note: To save changes and unlock the version, you must use the Export Components function under Content Development.
• Close the content version for development. It can be closed only if it is unlocked. Once closed, it is removed from this tab. See Closing a content version for development.
