Verifying item list prices
For items set to Active For Customer Portal and Portal Pricing Enabled, the list price must be the same for all portal users and it must be higher than any customer-specific pricing. If a customer-specific price is higher than the list price, the list price will not be displayed or used.
In the back office, the list price is the item's price when no discounts or customer-specific pricing is applied. The list price can come from one of these two fields on the Item Pricing form:
- If there is a break quantity price for a quantity of one, then its calculated Unit Price is the list price.
- If there is no break quantity price for a quantity of one, the list price is Unit Price 1.
Before activating item prices for the portals, you must verify that list pricing is set appropriately in all sites for which an item has portal pricing enabled.
