Reviewing Configurator UI parameters

In the cloud environment, Configurator UI parameters for the portals are set automatically. You should not change them unless advised by Infor.

To review these parameters, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Inventory Parameters form.
  2. Select the Product Configuration tab. This information is specified for the portals:
    Configurator Web Service URL
This is the URL for the Infor CPQ Configurator web service. The service file name is ProductConfiguratorUI.svc, and the path is defined when the Infor CPQ product is installed; for example, http://myserver/PCM/ConfiguratorService/V2/ProductConfiguratorUI.svc.
    Default Profile
This is the profile name that was created in Infor CPQ Design Studio for the Portal Configurator UI.
    Enable Configurator for Portal
This is set to the Portal Configurator UI, which was designed specifically for IPF portals.
Note: If this field is cleared or changed to None, while you still have items in the back office that are set to be configurable and active for the portals, the Customize button remains available on the portal. If the button is clicked, a message is displayed saying that the Configurator is not in service.
