Importing saved data sources

If you created data sources and exported them for storage, you can import them back into the Portal Manager as needed.

  1. In the Portal Manager, select Farm Configuration > Data Sources.
  2. Click Import.
  3. Find and select the data sources directory and click OK.
  4. Select the data sources to import and click Import.
    Note:  If the database you created in MSSQL for a local data store data source has been changed or removed, then when you import that data source, it will not work. You can edit the data source record or delete it and create a new one under Farm Configuration.
