Setting up event notifications

Most of the notifications, confirmations, and requests sent back and forth between the portals and the back office are handled by the back office application event system. Some events use workflow event handlers and require subscription to a publication. Some events use stored procedures or global constants. And some events fire automatically based on another trigger in the system. Portal event notification setup is described in this section.

• Subscribe users to publications.
