Updating online help
Help topics for portal pages and components on pages are optional. Help files are linked to pages and components by adding a Context Key in the help file properties in the Portal Manager.
When there is a help file linked to a page or component, a help icon (?) is displayed on the page, or a Help link is displayed in the side menu when applicable. If there is no help file linked to the page or component, then no help icon or link is displayed.
There is also a Help link in the bottom menu of each page, which opens a help contents page. If you choose not to provide online help, this link must be hidden.
We provide a standard set of online help files with each IPF portal. These help topics are written in English with a 1033 locale value. You can keep these topics, personalize them, and remove them.
