Specifying portal pricing items and sites
For each item that is to be displayed on the portal with pricing, the Active For Customer Portal and Portal Pricing Site options on the Items (or Multi-Site Items) form must be set in the Primary Site.
The Portal Pricing Site field is used to indicate the site from which each item's pricing and customer contract pricing is to be retrieved, and from which the item should be shipped, by default. If an item is to be sold from the Primary Site, the Portal Pricing Enabled field must also be selected for the item.
To provide pricing options for applicable items, or just to indicate the site or sites from which an item is sold, you must enable portal pricing for the items in additional sites of the portal site group. In each site from which to display a price for an item, open the Items form and select Portal Pricing Enabled.
