Select IDO dialog box

Use this dialog box to specify an IDO. To test the connection, select the IDO you want and click [Connect]. Messages indicate whether the connection was successful.

Depending on what type of object you are creating or editing, the IDO performs one of several functions:

• Returns a collection to a form.
• Contains a stored procedure method referenced by an ｢IDO Method list source｣.
• Contains the method referenced by a ｢Method Call validator｣.
• Contains the method referenced by an event handler with a ｢Method Call response type｣.
• Returns a collection that populates one or more levels of a ｢tree component｣.
