Project Accountant
A Project Accountant is responsible for monitoring the costs for a specific project or
group of projects, ensuring that the recorded expenses are accurate. The Project Accountant
also monitors project costs, maintain cost controls, and notify departments such as
procurement, manufacturing, engineering, quality management, and department supervisors about
misallocated costs or necessary transfers between projects. Project Accountant role is
important for accurate accounting and preventing potential customer fines due to incorrect
cost reporting on projects.
Note: To view the data in this workspace:
- You must specify the Company and Snooze Duration in the Filter section. By default, the Snooze Duration is set to 24 hours.
- You must create the User in the Employees - General (tccom0101m000) session.
- The contracts and projects must be assigned to the Project Manager in the Projects (tppdm6100m000)session.
