About the online help file system

The online help for Infor Mongoose is available on docs.infor.com. For on-premises installation, you can also install and access the help file together with this application. For multi-tenant installation, you are automatically directed to this website as part of your subscription.

The online help system for this application includes two sets of help files, each of which must be installed separately:

  • MongooseCoreHelp-yyyy.xx.zip, where yyyy is the current year and xx is the point-release number.

This file contains all the files required to access the base or core online help this product. These help files contain information about the application's basic operation and use, and information that is required for creating customizations using Design Mode or Web Designer, typically by form and application developers.

Note: If you want to access the core help file locally or together with your on-premises application, you must download and install this help file.
  • MongooseUtilityHelp-yyyy.xx.zip, where yyyy is the current year and xx is the point-release number.

This file contains the help files used by the various utilities available to application developers and system administrators. These help files can be used only with on-premises installations. These help files are not available from a multi-tenant installation.

These help file systems are included in this set:

    • App Metadata Sync
    • App Metadata Transport (stand-alone version)

However, you might want to install them in an alternate location, or you might want to reinstall later updates to ensure that you have the latest version of the help available.
