FormSync, Script tab

The Script tab contains these fields and options.

Fields and options Description/Comments
Output: Save/View The Save output option causes the output files to be written to a CSV (comma-separated values) file on the local computer. If the selected options result in multiple output files, in the web client or in a partial trust situation, they are bundled into a single zip file.

When this option is selected, a default location and filename are suggested in the Filename field. You can use the ellipsis () button to browse to a different location and/or provide a different filename.

Note: In the web client or in a partial trust situation, there is no ellipsis button. In these cases, you can specify a name for the output file in the Filename field. You can:
  • Specify a full path and filename on your local computer, for example: C:\output\MyFile
  • Specify only a filename, in which case, the system either prompts for a path or writes the file to the default download folder on the local computer.

Selecting Save output, then, writes the list values to the specified CSV (or zip) file on the local computer.

The View output option causes the output to be displayed on a form page. In this case, the Filename field and ellipsis button are both disabled.

Include object list in script header When selected, this option adds a list of custom objects, identified by name, in a comment section at the head of the generated SQL script.
Generate separate script per object When selected, this option generates a separate script for each object selected. To generate a single script for all selected objects, clear the check box.
Filename This field displays the path and file name for the saved list of custom objects.

Script form license

When selected, this option generates a script containing definitions of any module license records associated with such forms.

This option applies to new forms created by a user and to licensed vendor-supplied forms that a user has copied under a new name.

This check box is enabled only if you filter for Forms on the Filter tab.
