ION Transfer Type
Use this field to specify what type of data is being transferred in this intranet. This field is enabled only when is selected in the Transport field.
This drop-down field offers these options:
- : Use this option to specify that XML documents are being used to transfer data. These documents are most commonly Business Object Documents (BODs) used for replication.
- : Use this option to specify that data is being transferred using the the Infor Management Service (IMS). This data typically uses JSON-based transactions and the Data Lake.
Note: If you select in the ION Transfer Type field, the Append :ims To Logical ID option and the IMS Service Name field display. When sending replication records to an Infor Messaging Service (IMS) destination site, you can use the Append :ims To Logical ID option to append the ":ims" suffix to outbound logical IDs. To specify a lookup key for the IMS OAuth credentials, you can use the IMS Service Name field.
Regardless of which option you choose, when you select your option, the system enables some fields on the General tab and disables others.
