Working with Accounts
Use the Account details screen to review the details of the Account selected on the Accounts list screen. The Account details screen comprises of these tabs:
- DETAILS: The details related to the account can be viewed.
- RELATED: The entities related to this section can
be viewed. These are the entities:
- Address
- Bill To
- Contact
- Contact Associations
- Files
- Notes
- Phone Number
- Sales Order
- Ship To
To review the Account details:
- Select Account on the navigation bar. The Account list screen is displayed.
- Click the name of the account. The Account details screen is displayed.
- Select the Details tab.

View this information:
Note: These fields can be modified only on the web application.
- Account Name
- The name of the current or potential business.
- Type
- The category of the account.
- Phone Number
- The phone number of the account holder.
- Primary Website
- The primary website of the account.
- Primary Email
- The primary email address of the account.
- Division
- The division in the company to which the account is associated.
- Parent Account
- The parent account linked to this child or subsidiary account.
- Primary Address
- The primary address of the account.
- Status
- The current status of the account. Possible values:
- Active
- Closed
- Deleted
- Duplicate
- Hold
- Inactive
- Open
- Pending
- Prospect
- purge
- Rejected
- Industry
- The industry to which account is associated.
- Account Manager
- The person or team within the organization that manages the
account relationship.Note: You can click Lookup to find the user or team within the organization to manage the account relationship.
- Qualified
- Indicates if the account is qualified. When a lead is
qualified, the application selects this check box for the associated
account.Note: You must select the Include only qualified accounts check box to include only the qualified accounts in Account filters or lookups.
- Region
- The region in which the account is located.
- Business Description
- The description of business account.
- Default Sales Order Type
- The default Order Type when a new sales order is created for the Account.
- Requested Delivery Number of Days
- The number of days within which the delivery of the product is requested.
- Allow Ad Hoc Products
- Indicates whether the Ad Hoc
Product Lookup is available.Note: If set to Default, permissions are based on the sales order Product LookupAccounting Entity and Order Type on the Accounting Entity Sales Order Type maintenance page.
- Allow Price Visibility
- Indicates whether the price and discount information are
visible in Sales Order.Note: If set to Default, permissions are based on the sales order Accounting Entity and Order Type on the Accounting Entity Sales Order Type maintenance page.
- Allow Stock Visibility
- Indicates whether the Stock
Enquiry is available on the Product
Lookup window.Note: If set to Default, permissions are based on the sales order Accounting Entity and Order Type on the Accounting Entity Sales Order Type maintenance page.
- Signature Required
- Indicates whether the Signature
Capture window is displayed when a new sales order is
created for the account. Note: If set to Default, permissions are based on the sales order Accounting EntityProduct and Order Type on the Accounting Entity Sales Order Type maintenance page.
- Maximum Days
- When a new sales order is created and Due Date field on Add New Sales Order window is modified, the difference between current date and modified Due Date is compared against the value set on this field. If the difference exceeds the value set on this field, the difference is then compared against Maximum Days set for the sales order Accounting Entity and order type in Accounting Entity Sales Order Type maintenance page. A warning message is displayed if the difference is more than the value of Maximum Days in Accounting Entity Sales Order Type maintenance page.
- Business Chain Level 3
- The delivery business chain level 3 customer. Price or discount is retrieved from this business chain identity if no price or discount applies to the delivery customer.
- Pallet Discount Model
- The pallet discount model to which the account is associated.
