Working with Sales Orders

Use the Sales Order details page to view, add, or modify the information for a selected Sales Order.

To modify the Sales Order details:

  1. Click Sales Orders in the navigation pane. The Sales Orders list page is displayed.
  2. Click the sales orders. The Sales Order details page is displayed.
  3. Click View More to modify this information:
    Order ID
    The unique ID assigned when the sales order is created.
    Order Type
    The type of order.
    Note: This is applicable only for M3 integrated customers.
    Purchase Order
    The Purchase Order number of the customer.
    Warehouse
    The warehouse linked to the sales order.
    Note: 
    • This is applicable only for M3 integrated customers.
    • This is a mandatory field.
    Date Requested
    The date on which the customer placed the sales order.
    Note: This is not applicable for M3 integrated customers.
    Order Date
    The Purchase order of the customer. The date on which customer placed the sales order.
    Note: This is applicable only for M3 integrated customers.
    Date Promised
    The date on which the sales order is promised to be delivered to the customer.
    Note: This is not applicable for M3 integrated customers.
    Due Date
    The date by which the sales order must be delivered.
    Comments
    The additional notes related to the sales order.
    Account
    The account associated with the sales order.
    Note: This is a mandatory field.
    Account Manager
    The individual in the company who is responsible for the account.
    Requested By
    The contact requesting the sales order.
    Opportunity
    The opportunity associated with the sales order.
    Quote
    The original quote if the sales order is converted from a quote. This information is only for display and cannot be modified. See Working with Quotes.
    Note: 
    • This is not applicable for M3 integrated customers.
    • This field cannot be modified.
    Status
    The status of the sales order.
    Type
    The type of order.
    Note: This is not applicable for M3 integrated customers.
    Back ordered
    Select the check box if the products associated with the sales order are on back order.
    Note: This is not applicable for M3 integrated customers.
  4. Click the History tab to view the history of activities performed on the selected Sales Order.
  5. Click the Files tab to view the history of attachments linked to the selected Sales Order.
  6. Expand or collapse an entity related section to add, review or modify the data defined for the various entities linked to the Sales Order.
  7. Click Save.
