Working with Contacts

To modify the contact details:

  1. Click Contacts in the navigation pane. The Contacts list page is displayed.
  2. Click the contact name. The Contact details page is displayed.
  3. Click View More to modify this information:
    Name
    The name of the contact.
    Account
    The account to which the contact is linked.
    Phone
    The primary phone number of the contact. The phone numbers can be modified in the Phone Numbers related section.
    Email
    The primary email address of the contact. The email addresses can be modified in the Emails related section.
    Account Manager
    The person or team in the organization that manages the account relationship.
    Owner

    The person or a team in the organization who has access to the account.

    This is determined by the account owner and cannot be changed.

    Status
    The status of the contact in the organization. Possible values:
    • Active
    • Duplicate
    • Follow-Up
    • Inactive
    • New
    • Purge
    • Qualified
    Type
    The type of the contact.
    LinkedIn
    The URL to access LinkedIn information of the contact.
    Facebook
    The URL to access Facebook information of the contact.
    Twitter
    The URL to access Twitter information of the contact.
    Title
    The designation of the contact.
    Assistant
    The name of the person assisting the contact.
    Preferred Contact
    The preferred method of correspondence with the contact or account. Possible values:
    • Email
    • Phone
    • Fax
    • Letter
    Website
    The primary website of the contact. Websites can be modified in the Websitesrelated section.
    Address
    The primary address of the contact. Addresses can be modified in the Addresses related section.
    Primary Contact
    Select the check box to set the contact as the primary.
    Do Not Solicit
    The contact cannot be solicited.
    Note:  If this field is set to Opted Out or No Response, the values in the remaining Do Not fields are defaulted based on the value selected in the Do Not Solicit field and cannot be modified.
    Do Not Email, Do Not Call, Do Not Mail, Do Not Fax
    The email, call, mail or fax can be solicited. These fields are enabled only if the Do Not Solicit field is set to a value other than Opted Out.
    Profile Image
    The initials or image that represents the contact. If no image has been previously uploaded, the initials of the contact is displayed.
    Note: To modify the image, rest the pointer on the profile image. You can click the Camera icon to select and upload a .png file.
  4. Click the History tab to view the history of activities performed on the selected contact. You can click View Full List to view all the activities.
  5. Click the Files tab to view the history of attachments linked to the selected contact. You can click View Full List to view all the attachments.
  6. Expand or collapse an entity related section to add, review, or modify the data defined for the various entities linked to the Contact.
  7. Click Save.
    Note: On this page, you can:
    • Click Delete to delete the Contact.
    • Use the Copy to Clipboard option to copy the Contact and the linked account name to the clipboard.
