Activities overview

Activities are actions such as attending meetings, conducting trade shows, sending correspondence or preparing presentations and are generally scheduled for a specific time. Activities for which timelines are defined are scheduled to occur on a selected day, but at no specific time. When you schedule an activity, it is displayed on the Calendar and Activities list page, and in the Activities section of some entities. This describes the various activities like phone call, To-do event and meetings.

New activities that are yet to be confirmed are notified through alerts. You can edit, delete or complete activities and events that you create.

If you are authorized to modify the calendar of other users, you can view, edit, complete, or delete any activity. Similarly, if other users are authorized to modify your calendar, the users can view, edit, complete, or delete any activity on your calendar.

Note: The security access provided to you determines the functions you can perform. Only a user with Administrator role can change the access rights.
