Managing Contour Places

Use the Places details page to view, add, or modify the information.

Note: The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features.
  1. Select Place from the Add menu. The Add New Place window is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    Name
    The name of the place to be added. For example, a hotel, restaurant, or airport.
    Address
    The street number and the name.
    City
    The name of the city.
    State
    The state of the place.
    Postal Code
    The postal code of the place.
    Country
    The name of the country.
  3. Click Submit.
    Note: You can select Place from Contextual Menu bar, the list of placed with the details of the selected place are displayed in the Place window.
    • Click Delete on required record to delete the place.
    • Click Share on the record to share the place.

      After a place has been shared, all users have access to the place. You cannot modify or delete the place unless you have the required permissions.
