Quote Snapshot

Use the Quote Snapshot to view or modify the information for a selected quote values. The snapshot displays information for the base currency, quote currency, user currency, exchange rate and the exchange rate date. The price information is displayed in the most recent currency code and exchange rate.

Note: You cannot modify the Discount, Shipping and Tax values when the quote status is: Awarded, Lost, Replaced, Canceled, or Deleted.

To access the Quote Snapshot:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Click Quotes on the navigation bar. You can also scroll or filter to find the required record and click the record name.
    • Expand the Quotes Related Item section on an Account or Opportunity details page, and click the record name.
    • Click the link in the message that is displayed in the upper right corner, after adding a new quote.
  2. Click Grand Total in the Quote details page header.
  3. You can review or modify this information:
    Subtotal
    The total cost of all the products associated with the quote after subtracting the discounts, if any.
    Note: This value is displayed in Base, Quote, and User currencies. You cannot modify this value.
    Discount
    The discount to be applied on the quote.
    Note: 
    • This value is displayed in Base, Quote, and User currencies.
    • This value is displayed only if the Local CRM Pricing Quote option is set to True, on the Options tab, in the Integration Maintenance details page
    Shipping
    The cost of shipping the order to the customer.
    Note: 
    • This value is displayed in Base, Quote, and User currencies.
    • This value is displayed only if the Local CRM Pricing Quote option is set to True, on the Options tab, in the Integration Maintenance details page
    Tax
    The tax rate applied to the quote.
    Note: 
    • This value is displayed in Base, Quote, and User currencies.
    • This value is displayed only if the Local CRM Pricing Quote option is set to True, on the Options tab, in the Integration Maintenance details page
    Grand Total
    The total amount of the quote including discounts, shipping cost and tax.
    Note: This value is displayed in Base, Quote, and User currencies. You cannot modify this value.
    Currency
    The currency in which the quote amount is expressed.
    Exchange Rate
    The exchange rate applied to the quote.
    Note: You cannot modify this value.
    Exchange Rate Date
    The date when the currency exchange rate for the selected currency is set.
    Note: You cannot modify this value.
    Exchange Rate Locked
    Select the check box to save the current exchange rate for this quote.
