Managing Response Information

Use the Response window to view, add or update response information.

To manage a response:

  1. Add a response:
    1. Expand the Responses related item section on the Campaign details page.
    2. Click Insert.
    3. Specify this information on the Details tab:
      Name
      The name of the contact or lead. Click Lookup to select from the list of contact or lead targets associated with the campaign.
      Note: You to add a campaign target first before you can add a response.
      Status
      The status of the response. To change the status, select a value from the list.
      Response Date
      The date on which the response is added to the campaign. You can click Calendar to select the date.
      Response Method
      The method of response. To change the method, select a value from the list.
      Interest
      The description of the response from the contact or lead. To change the interest, select a value from the list.
      Interest Level
      The interest level of the contact or lead. To change the interest level, select a value from the list.
      Campaign
      By default, this field is set to the currently selected campaign record.
      Stage
      The campaign response stage. To change the stage, select a value from the list.
      Lead Source
      The lead source selected for the campaign response.
      Comments
      The additional information about the response.
    4. Use the Products tab to view the products associated with the response. To associate a product with the response, click Associate and select from the list of products.
      Note: You can add a product only after you specify the Response details.
    5. Click Submit.
      Note: When a contact or lead response is added, the application updates the status of the contact or lead target to Responded.
  2. Modify a response:
    1. Click the contact or lead Name or click Edit corresponding to the record to be modified in the Responses related section.
    2. Update the response information.
    3. Use the Products tab to view the products associated with the response. To associate a product with the response, click Associate and select from the list of products.
    4. Click Submit.
  3. Delete a response:
    1. Expand the Responses related section on the Campaign details page.
    2. Perform one of these steps:
      • Click Delete corresponding to the record to be deleted. OR,
      • Click View Full List, and select the check boxes corresponding to the record to be deleted. Click Delete Selected Record.
    3. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
