Pallet discount models overview
Pallet discount models allow you to define the discounts that can be applicable for each
pallet unit of a product added to the sales order line of Direct Delivery, Warehouse Delivery
and EDI orders.
You can create pallet discount models for an accounting entity to which you have access. A pallet discount model must be linked to a product and account. For the pallet discounts to be retrieved for a sales order line:
- The account (delivery customer or business chain level 3) must have an associated pallet discount model.
- The product must have a pallet discount model and unit of measure or alternate unit of measure of PAL (pallet). If the alternate unit of measure is in pallet, the order quantity is divided by the conversion factor.
You can view the pallet discounts applicable for each sales order line from the Order Summary or the Discounts tab.
