Adding a New Marketing Email

Use the Marketing Email window to view, add, or update emails for Marketing campaigns.

  1. Expand the Marketing Emails related item section from the Campaign details page.
  2. Click Insert. The Marketing Email window is displayed.
  3. Specify this information:
    Subject
    The subject of the email.
    Reply To
    The respondent of the email.
    Use Template
    Select this check box to use an existing email template.
    Template
    The template used for sending marketing email.
    Note: The template Lookup is only enabled when the Use Template check box is selected. After selecting a template, the selected template message is displayed in the Message area. If the selected template has attachments, the template attachments is added to files tab.
    Message
    Specify the email message. You can add formatting to the email content using the Marketing Email Editor.
    Targets
    The number of email targets. Email targets are automatically pulled from campaign targets excluding targets with email opt out or no response.
    Send Immediately
    Select this check box to send the email immediately.
    Send On
    Select this check box to set a schedule for sending email. The date must be specified in the Date field when the email is to be sent.
    Save Message as Template
    Select this check box to save the message as a Marketing Email template.
    Note: This check box is enabled only when the Message field contains text.
    Upload Files
    The files or attachments that are uploaded to the email.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. Click Yes to confirm sending of email to selected targets.
