Working with Quotes

Use the Quote details page to view, add or modify the information for the selected quote.

To modify the details of a Quote:

  1. Click Quotes in the navigation pane. The Quotes list page is displayed.
  2. Click the opportunity name. The Quotes details page is displayed.
  3. Click View More to modify this information:
    Quote ID
    The unique ID assigned when the quote is created.
    Account
    The account associated with the quote.
    Customer RFQ
    The customer request for quote reference number.
    Opportunity
    The opportunity associated with the quote.
    Sales Order ID
    The code of the sales order created after converting the quote to sales order.
    Status
    The status of the quote.
    Comments
    The comments that are specific to this quote.
    Start Date
    The start date of the quote.
    Expiration Date
    The date on which the quote expires.

    If this date is not specified when creating the quote, the application defaults the number of days set by the administrator.

    Account Manager
    The person or team in the organization that manages the account relationship.
    Requested By
    The contact who requested the quote.
  4. Select the History tab to view the history of activities performed on the selected Quote.
  5. Select the Files tab to view the history of attachments linked to the selected Quote.
  6. Expand or collapse an entity related section to add, review or modify the data defined for the various entities linked to the Quote.
  7. Click Save.
    You can use the other functions from the Detail view toolbar. See Details page toolbar.

    You can access these options from the Detail menu:

    • Sync History
    • Accounting
      Note: In an integrated environment, you can view Accounting details for the quote.
