Background Task Definitions
Use this form to create or view a record that identifies each background task to TaskMan. TaskMan monitors the application database to perform background tasks.
Every report, and every utility or activity that can be run as a background process, must be listed in the Background Task Definitions form.
Note: Tasks are already set up for the required
standard forms in this application. Use this form only to set up tasks for your custom report
forms.
To view a record:
- Select from the navigation pane. The Background Task Definitions page is displayed.
- Click the required record name.
The record opens in the combined list and detail page.
On this page, you can:
- Schedule a New Task.
- View or Modify Active Task.
- View Task History.
