Working the BOD Mappings details
- Select Master Explorer > System Administration > Back Offices > Back Office Extension from the navigation pane. The Back Office Extension details page is displayed.
- Click the Back Office tab.
- Click the back office mapping link. The BOD Mapping details page is displayed.
- Specify this information:
- Back Office
- The back office associated with the BOD mapping.Note: This value cannot be modified.
- BOD Mapping
- The name of the BOD mapping. When adding a new ION field mapping, you must use a unique and descriptive name for the BOD mapping.
- Noun
- The noun property that defines the type of BOD content processed by the BOD Mapping record. For example, CustomerPartyMaster, ContactMaster, Quote, SalesOrder. Each supported noun has one unique BOD Mapping which describes the transformation of the BOD content into integrated CRM content.
- IDO
- The Infor CRM IDO, or the record type that is mapped.
- Inherit Owner From
- The parent entity from which the mapped entity inherits ownership. This property is defined by the BOD Pack and must be modified only when instructed by Infor CRM support personnel.
- Delete Behavior
- The option to set the Delete behavior for integrated
records. Possible values:
- Soft: Use this option to change the record status to Delete. The records are not deleted from the database. This is a default value.
- Hard: Use this option to delete the record from the database if the host system accepts the Delete request. Some host systems do not support delete requests.
- Unique ID Node
- The attributes contained in the Unique XPath which can be used to define the Accounting Entity and variation ID attributes of the integration specific unique ID.
- Unique ID XPath
- The XPath in the BOD which contains the integration specific unique ID.
- Generate Outbound Template
- Select this check box to regenerate the outbound template based on BOD field mapping updates. This check box must be cleared if the outbound template is manually modified.
- Active
- Select this check box to initiate the synchronization for the BOD mapping.
- Custom
- Select this check box to identify customized, editable, BOD mappings. This check box is selected automatically for customized BOD Mappings in the Back Office BOD Mapping Tab.
- Outbound On Create
- This field indicates the method of promoting the new
content from Infor CRM CE to the integrated host system. Possible
values:
- Automatic: The content is automatically published to the integrated back office application when the new content is saved, provided all prerequisites are met.
- User triggered: The content is published to the integrated back office application when the new content is saved and you click Promote. All promotion prerequisites must be met.
- Disabled: Updates are not published to the integrated back office application.
- Outbound on Update
- This field indicates the method of promoting updated
integrated content from Infor CRM CE to the integrated host system.
Possible values are:
- Automatic: The content is automatically published to the integrated back office application when the modified content is saved, provided all prerequisites are met.
- User triggered: The content is published to the integrated back office application when the modified content is saved and you click Promote. All promotion prerequisites must be met.
- Disabled: Updates are not published to the integrated back office application.
- Outbound on Delete
- This field indicates the method of promoting delete request
for integrated content from Infor CRM CE to the integrated host
system. Possible values are:
- Automatic: The deleted content is automatically published to the integrated back office application when the deleted content is saved.
- User triggered: The deleted content is published to the integrated host system when you click Promote. The integrated content is soft deleted and the status is set to Deleted.
- Disabled: The deleted content is not published to the integrated host system. The deletion of integrated content is not supported.
- System of Record
- The name of the application that is set as the system of
record. This is the authoritative data source for certain record
types in an integration. Note: The ERP is currently the System of Record.
- Click Save.
