Administering Sales Order Type

The Sales Order Type Maintenance page displays the order types that can be added in the Accounting Entity Sales Order Type Maintenance page. The settings defined in the Sales Order Type Maintenance page are used as default values when a sales order type is added in the Accounting Entity Sales Order Type Maintenance page.
Note: 
  • This is applicable only for M3 integrated customers.
  • You must be logged on to the Infor CRM Administration Client and have the appropriate permissions to perform this task.

To access the Sales Order Type Maintenance page, access Master Explorer > System Administration > Configuration and Users from the navigation pane and click Sales Order Type Maintenance to view the Sales Order Type Maintenance list or details page.

The page displays as a side-by-side view with order types already in the system showing in the grid, and information about the selected record displaying in the details page.

On this page, you can:

  • Add an order type: In the details page menu bar, click New, select an Order Type, select the check box of required settings, and click Save.
  • Edit an order type: In the grid, select the order type to be edited. Information for that order type populates the information boxes. Edit the desired information and click Save.
  • Remove an order type: In the grid, select the order type to be deleted. On the details page menu bar, click Delete. Click OK to confirm, and click Save.

Code
This is the code for the selected order type as defined in the Picklist Maintenance form.
Note: This field is not editable.
Allow Ad Hoc Products
The value is used as default for Allow Ad Hoc Products field in the Accounting Entity Sales Order Type Maintenance page.
Allow Price Visibility
The value is used as default for Allow Price Visibility field in the Accounting Entity Sales Order Type Maintenance page.
Allow Stock Visibility
The value is used as default for Allow Stock Visibility field in the Accounting Entity Sales Order Type Maintenance page.
Allow Price Visibility
The value is used as default for Allow Price Visibility field in the Accounting Entity Sales Order Type Maintenance page.
Allow Stock Visibility
The value is used as default for Allow Stock Visibility field in the Accounting Entity Sales Order Type Maintenance page.
Signature Required
The value is used as default for Signature Required field in the Accounting Entity Sales Order Type Maintenance page.
