Creating a Direct Delivery Order

Use the Add New Sales Order page to create a new Warehouse or Direct Delivery Order.
Note: You can select the Super User check box to view all the accounts and sales orders on the User Maintenancepage.
  1. Navigate to User Maintenance page in the CRM Admin application.
  2. Click Add New Sales Order on the User Maintenance page.
  3. Specify this information:
    Account
    The account linked to the selected accounting entity.
    Order Type
    The type of the order to be created. Possible values:
    • Warehouse Delivery
    • Direct Delivery
    Warehouse
    The warehouse for which the direct delivery order is created.
    Note: If the User Maintenance page has a default warehouse selected, the value is defaulted from here.
    Purchase order number
    The purchase order number linked to the warehouse.
    Note: This is a mandatory field.
    Currency code
    The code of the selected currency.
    Status
    The status of the order.
    Exchange Rate
    The exchange rate of the selected currency.
    Note: The default value is one.
  4. Click Next to access the product lookup.
  5. Specify a quantity for the selected product in the Quantity field.
  6. Click Submit to close the product lookup window.
  7. Review the price, discount, tax information for added products on the Sales Order Summary page.
  8. Click Next. The Signature Capture window is displayed.
    Note: If the Signature Required field for the Account is set to Yes or Signature Required in Account is set to Default and checked in Accounting Entity Sales Order Type Maintenance for the Account Entity Order Type. You can capture a customer's signature and click Submit.
  9. Verify the order header and line details on the New Sales Order Wizard page.
  10. Click the Promote on the on the Sales Order header to sync the order details in M3. A Sales Order BOD is published.
    Note: You can hover over the Sync Status icon to view the status of the synchronization. The Sync Status field is set to In Sync if the sales order is promoted.
  11. Click Submit to close the Sales Order Wizard. A toast message containing the sales order number is displayed on the top right corner of the page.
  12. Click the sales order number. The Sales Order details page is displayed.
  13. Click the menu on the Sales Order header and select Accounting on the Sales Order header. The Sales Order ERP details page displays the accounting details.
  14. Copy the M3 customer order number from the External ID field on the Sales order ERP details page.
  15. Click the App menu and select Infor M3 to access the Infor M3 application.
  16. Select the company and division.
  17. Press Ctrl + R. The Search and Start window is displayed.
  18. Specify OIS300 in the Search field and click OK. The OIS300 Customer Order list page is displayed.
  19. Specify the M3 customer order number (from CRM sales order’s External ID field) in the Customer Order number field to view the customer order related to the specified sales order.
  20. Right click the selected record. The list of options is displayed.
  21. Select the Order lines on the Related menu to view the order lines. The order lines related to the selected Customer Order number is displayed.
