Managing Users
Users are the people that can access your Infor CRM database. Each user has a profile that defines information
such as the user name, title, manager, team membership, department membership, and
security access.
Note: You must be logged into the Infor CRM Administration Client and
have appropriate permissions to perform this task.
You can add any of these user types:
- SA
- This user is used for background processes.
- Super User
- A user with access to all features and functions in Infor CRM.
- System
- System users are used for system processing such as background processes. These users are unavailable in the lookups.
- Application
- Users who only have access to the Infor CRM can view, add, delete, or modify information based on their access rights.
- Template
- User Templates can be created to define settings you want to use when creating new users. For example, you can create a user template named Manager which can function as the generic user profile for all managers in your company. When you create the user and apply the template, the profile is already configured with the appropriate settings.
