Adding the Campaign Targets using Filter

Use the Campaign Target Query window to add and filter the contacts and leads that are to be targeted for a campaign.

  1. Expand the Targets related section on the Campaign details page.
  2. Click Insert to access the Campaign Target Query window.
  3. Perform one of these steps to search the targets to be added in the campaign:
    • Use the Primary Criteria tab to set the primary search criteria.

      You can use these options to filter specific contacts or leads:

      Contacts
      The contacts that meet the criteria are displayed. For example, Contacts with City = Chicago.
      Accounts (Primary Contact only)
      The primary contacts of accounts that meet the criteria are displayed. For example, Primary contacts of accounts with City = Chicago.
      Account (All Contacts)
      The contacts of accounts that meet the criteria are displayed. For example, All contacts associated with an account with City = Chicago.
      Leads
      Result list displays only the leads that meet the criteria. For example, Leads with City = Chicago.
      Account (All Leads)
      The leads of accounts that meet the criteria are displayed. For example, All leads associated with an account with City = Chicago.
      Accounts (All Contacts and Leads)
      The contacts and leads associated with an account that meet the criteria are displayed. For example, All contacts and leads associated with an account with City = Chicago.
    • Use the Additional Criteria tab to refine the search criteria further.

      Additional criteria can be added using AND or OR. If multiple criteria are joined by OR, records are returned if one of the criteria is met.

  4. Select an operator from the list for a field on which filter requires to be added.
  5. Use these options:
    • Click OK to add the targets from the Results grid to the selected campaign.
    • Click Cancel to close the Campaign Target Query window.
    • Click Clear to clear out all the filter fields.
    • Click Refresh to search based on selected the criteria. The search records are displayed on the Results grid.
    • Click Select All to select all the records or click Reset All to remove selection of all the records on the Results grid.
    Note:  Only contacts or leads who have opted in for solicitation are included in the search.
