Promoting a record

You can promote a record to Back Office.

Note: Additional configuration can be required on the host ERP system before the promotion of quotes or sales orders is supported. Contact your administrator for details.
  1. Access the details page of the entity that you are required to promote:
    • Account
    • Contact
    • Quote
    • Sales order
  2. Click Promote.
  3. Click the Back Office field and select the back office application , if prompted.
  4. Select the entity in the Accounting Entity field. This value must be corresponding to the entity type you are promoting.
  5. Click Submit.
