Configuring a Welcome page Links List widget

Click Welcome on the Navigation Pane.

Select the required tab to add a widget to or contains the widget to modify.

Add or modify a links widget. See Using Welcome page widgets.

Specify a widget title in the Title field.

Click Add.

Specify the URL link to be displayed in the Link URL field. For example, http://localhost/SlxClient/Account.aspx.

Note: This path can be a relative path within the SLXClient portal, or an absolute link to an external site. The URL for an external site must include the http:// designator. For example, to access www.google.com the URL must read http://www.google.com. Else the browser searches for http://<SLXClient site>/www.google.com.

Specify the text to be displayed as a link in the Link Text field. For example, Google Search Page.

Specify an identifier for the target in the Target box field. For example, To access the link in a new browser window, specify New Window. When you click the link, a new browser window or tab is displayed.

Note: If this field is blank, the link displays in the active browser window or tab when clicked. If several links have the same target designation, each link replaces the other as you click them.

Click Add to add another link, or click OK to close the editor.

Note: When you click OK, the widget refreshes to display the links.
