What's New In This Release
This topic describes the enhancements for the 9.4 version.
General
You can view these new enhancements in the 9.4 version:
- Mail Merge and Run Report steps are available for the CRM workflows. See What are CRM Workflows?
- is accessible for leads and opportunities. You can view leads and opportunities on a Contour map or perform a proximity search to identify leads and opportunities.
- You can now hide Dashboard tabs.
- The Activity window Notes field remains resized.
Back Office
These are the enhancements related to Back Office:
- Product ERP Details Notes: In an integrated environment, the Quote and Sales Order Edit Product ERP Details Notes are now visible on the view. You can click the icon to view extended notes in a separate window.
- Improved Pricing Documentation: There is now enhanced documentation for handling price overrides and adjustments in integrated quotes or sales orders. These changes are only applicable if permitted by the administrator. See Integrated Pricing Tab for Sales Order or Quote Products (Back Office Extension)
Administrative changes
These are the modifications or updates to the system settings, procedures, or configurations:
- CRM Workflows
- The CRM Workflow functionality is used to define and run workflows within the CRM
application. These are the related enhancements:
- The Mail Merge and Run Report are new step actions. Run Report includes an option to send the report by email. See Defining the Mail Merge workflow step or Defining the Run Report workflow step
- The Recipients tab is redesigned to simplify the selection of user and owner fields. This also includes an option to send emails or approvals to a user’s manager.
- The CRM Workflow Definition Properties tab. button has been added to the
- Ability to set the Workflow attribute for entities in Entity Manager.
- Manage Deployments
- You can now manage deployments from the Using the Deployment Manager menu through the menu item (Deployment Manager). See
- Lead Capture
- Provides the ability to capture lead information from web page (referred to as the Lead Capture form) and save that information in Infor CRM SLX by a handler that can be added as a post action on a link or button. See What is Lead Capture?
- Currency Control Decimal Digits
- This is a new option on the Office Profile Currency tab to determine the number of decimal places to display in currency controls, tab grid columns, and list view currency columns that are not formatted. Formatted currency columns use the specified format. See Managing Currency
- Back Office
- These are the enhancements related to Back Office:
- Back Office Extension Options tab to prevent the creation of duplicate records in Infor CRM SLX and the host ERP system. : This option has been removed from the
- Pricing Documentation: This feature improves documentation for Price overrides and price adjustments for integrated quote or sales order unit pricing if permitted by the administrator. See:

- Administration/LeadCaptureConfiguration/View: Provides access to view the Lead Capture Configuration view. This is added for the Administrator role.
- Administration/LeadCaptureConfiguration/Edit: Provides access to edit the Lead Capture Configuration view. This is added for the Administrator role.
- Contour/Map/Lead: Allows searching for and viewing leads on a map. This is added for the Contour role.
- Contour/Map/Opportunity: Allows searching for and viewing opportunities on a map. This is added for the Contour role.
- Import/History/View: Allows access to the Import History view. This is added for the Standard user role.

- New settings:
- MfaWinAuthNextUrlSkipList: A comma-delimited list of pages that causes the WinAuthLoad.aspx page to ignore the next_url and redirect to Default.aspx.
- MfaFormsAuthReturnUrlSkipList: A comma-delimited list of pages that causes the Login.aspx page to ignore the ReturnUrl and redirect to Default.aspx.
- SyncWorkerJobLimit: Specifies the allowed number of concurrent worker jobs for calendar and contact sync.
- The category for WriteInProducts has been changed from Back Office Extension to Saleslogix, as this applies generally to Infor CRM SLX and is not limited to Back Office (ERP) integrated environments. This option is no longer listed on the Integration - Back Office Extension Options tab.
- The OutboundRetryCountBOE setting is removed to prevent the creation of duplicate records in Infor CRM SLX and the host ERP system.
