Adding or modifying a Customer Journey Note step
You can use this page to add or modify a customer journey note step in a stage. A note step in a customer journey enables you to add additional information to the step.
To add or modify a customer journey note step:
- Select Administration > Customer Journey on the Navigation Bar. The Customer Journey list view is displayed. See Using the Customer Journeys list view.
 - Click the required customer journey from the list or use the Lookup to select a customer journey. The detail view of the selected Customer Journey is displayed. See Using lookup.
 - 
				Click the Add Step icon
					corresponding to the stage required on the Stages/Steps tab. The Add Step window is
					displayed.
				Note:
- You can only add steps to a Stage. If required, you can click the Add Stage icon on the toolbar of the tab, to create a new stage.
 - To modify the step, you can click the step name link.

				Specify this information on the General tab:
				
- Step Name
 - The name of the step.Note: You must specify this value.
 - Description
 - A brief description of the step.
 - Order
 - The numeric order value of the step within the customer
								journey, that determines the order in which steps must be
									performed.Note: This value is defaulted, and you cannot modify the value.
 - Required
 - Select this check box to indicate that the step is required and must be completed before proceeding with the next step.
 - Action
 - The action type of the step. Select Note from the list.
 
 - 
				Click the Note Options tab and specify
					this information:
				
- Regarding
 - The reason for this Note step. Possible values:
- Meeting notes
 - Phone meeting
 - Proposal
 - Qualification
 - Questions
 - Technical notes
 
 - Priority
 - The priority order for the Note step.
 - Category
 - The category of the Note step. Possible values:
- Qualification
 - Technical
 - Project X
 - Project Y
 - Lead Conversion
 
Note: The additional notes specified for the step. 
 - 
				Click OK to save the step and close
					the window.
				Note: You can click Save and New to save the record and create a new customer journey step.
