Assigning secured actions to a role

Secured actions secure user interface elements. Once a secured action is applied to a user interface element, only users who are assigned a role that includes the secured action can see and use the elements. You can assign one or more secured actions to a role.

To assign:

  1. Access the Secured Actions list view. See Using the Secured Actions list view
  2. Select the secured actions that you require to assign to a role.
  3. Click Add to Role link in the Secured Action Tasks section.
  4. Click Find in the Select Role window and use the Lookup to find and select the required role, and click OK. See Finding records
  5. Click OK.
