Using the Lead Source detail view
Use the Detail view to review, add, or modify information for a selected record.
Note: The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can
access these features. See What are Roles and Secured Actions?
To access the Lead Source detail view, select from the Navigation Bar, and click to access the Lead Sources list view. If required, use the option to locate a lead source, and select on the lead source name. See Using lookup
On this page, you can:
- Use the Task Pane group list or common tasks. See Using the Task Pane
- View a group. See What are Groups?
- Click the icon or the current group tab to display the list view.
The Task pane contains the Common Tasks section. In
this section, you can:
- Add to Group. See Adding Ad Hoc group records
- Remove from Group. See Removing Ad hoc records

Description | Specify a description for the lead source. |
Abbrev. Desc | Specify a short description for the lead source. |
Type | Click the arrow and select an item from the list. |
Status | Click the arrow and select an item from the list. |
Cost | Specify the cost associated with producing the lead. |
