Resetting locked out users

A user can be locked out from logging in to the application, if the number of user failed login attempts exceeds the number of allowed attempts. The Login Attempt Threshold is set in the Administrator on the Password tab. Resetting a locked out user changes the number of attempts to zero and allows the user to attempt to log in again.

Note: The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features. See What are Roles and Secured Actions?

To reset one or more locked out users:

  1. Click Administration and click Users on the Navigation bar.
  2. Access the Users With Failed Logins group.
  3. Click Reset Users under User Tasks section in the Task Pane. See Using the Task Pane
