Field Mappings tab
Use the Field Mappings tab to view and manage the Business Object Document, or BOD, field mappings defining the property level mapping of integrated content between the host system of record and the subscriber, application. See Back Office
Note: The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can
access these features. See What are Roles and Secured Actions?
Click the Field Mappings tab, on the BOD Mapping detail view, to access the Field Mappings tab.
On this page, you can:
- Click the BOD Field Mapping detail view. to access the
- Add a field mapping:
- Click icon.
- Follow these steps for adding a BOD field mapping. See Adding a BOD mapping (back office extension).
- Modify a BOD field mapping:
- Select or to modify the BOD field mapping content.
- Select the BOD field mapping name to view BOD field mapping detail view. (Customized BOD field mappings are editable in the BOD Field Mapping detail view.)
- Content is not editable in the BOD field mapping tab grid.
- Select the link to generate a new BOD field mapping entry based on the pre existing content of the selected Bod Field Mapping.
This view contains these columns:
- Name
- The of the field map. To customize the field mapping, click the link for the selected record. After you customize the field mapping, the link is replaced with link. This indicates that the record is customized. Click to duplicate a selected record.
- Entity
- The application entity, or record type, being mapped.
- Entity XPath
- The generic BOD element XPath defining a portion of the Business Object Document, BOD, to be mapped to the specified CRM SLX entity.
- Property
- The application property name being mapped.
- Property XPath
- The partial XPath, based on the Entity XPath content, for the actual BOD element content to be mapped to the specified CRM SLX entity property.
- Sync Direction
- Identifies how information is synchronized between application and the integrated
product. Specify one of these options:
- Both - for inbound and outbound BODs
- In - for inbound BODs
- Out - for outbound BODs
- Custom
- Identifies whether or not a field mapping is custom.
- Active
- Use this option to turn on or turn off synchronization for this BOD mapping.
- Search Clause
- Indicates if the field mapping requires a match (AND) or is one of several match criteria (OR). This is only used if Include in Search is set to True.
- Include In Search
- Indicates whether or not the Field Mapping is used as match criteria for Inbound process BODs.
