Adding a lead source to the list

You can add lead sources, such as trade shows and advertisements, to the list of available lead sources.

Note: The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features. See What are Roles and Secured Actions?

To add lead source:

  1. Right-click Lead Sources and select New Lead Source from the Administration menu.
  2. Specify this information:
    Description
    A description for the lead source.
    Abbrev. Desc.
    A short description for the lead source.
    Type
    Click the arrow and select an item from the list.
    Status
    Click the arrow and select an item from the list.
    Cost

    The cost associated with producing the lead source.

    Date
    Click Calendar and select a date.
  3. Click Save.
