Managing SpeedSearch schedules
Use the Schedules tab in the SpeedSearch Manager view to manage the schedules. You can create a schedule to automatically rebuild SpeedSearch indexes regularly to ensure that the updated information is available to the users.
The schedule types are as follows:
- Full: The index is rebuilt completely, each time. You can set up one Full build schedule for each index.
- Incremental: The index is updated with new or changed records or files. You can set up an Incremental build schedule for each index. However, at least one Full build must be completed before an Incremental schedule runs.
You must set up a Full index schedule for each index to run intermittently during a time when database activity is low (for example, once a week at 12 A.M. Saturday). Additionally, set up an Incremental index schedule for each index to run intermittently (one or more times a day based on the company requirements).
To access the Schedules tab, you can click on the navigation bar and click .
