Custom Price Services tab

Use the Custom Price Services tab to view and manage the implementation specific configuration of the real time Price and Availability web services.

Note: The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features.

To view the customized Price Service, in the Back Office detail view, select the Custom Price Service tab. See Using the Back Office detail view

To add a custom Price Service, click Add Price service and follow these steps for adding a price service. See Modifying or customizing a Price Service

To modify a Price Service:
  • Select the Price Service name to open the Price Service detail view. (Customized price services are editable in the Price Service detail view. For more information, see Using the Price Service detail view
    Note: The data cannot be modified in the Price Service tab grid.

Review the following data on the Price Services tab.

Field Name Description
Edit Only Customized entries of the Price Services tab are included in the Customized Price Services tab.
Name The name of the Price service.
Description A description of the price service.
Action ERP specific action string for the specific Price Service.
Custom This check box is selected if the record is customized.
Active This check box is selected to turn synchronization on to enable the price service.

To customize a Price Service, access the Price Service tab and click the Customize link for the Price Service to be customized with implementation-specific content.

Customized Price Service records are displayed on both the Customized Price Services tab and the standard Price Service tab.

Note: To implement Prospect Pricing for opportunities, quotes, and sales orders of unpromoted accounts, in the Add/Edit Back Office Accounting Entity dialog box, you must define the Default Customer ID field with the ERP-based customer number to use for price service requests of opportunities, quotes, and sales orders of unpromoted accounts.
