Signing in using Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) provides an additional security layer. Users are required to provide a unique and time sensitive code before being signed in to the Infor CRM SLX Web Client.

Note: If you are required to use an authenticator application, you must first have access to that application on the mobile device.

You can use the Multi-Factor Authentication tab in the Options view to manage the Multi-Factor Authentication methods. See Managing Multi-Factor Authentication methods

To sign in with Multi-Factor Authentication:

  1. Specify the Username and Password and set the Language and Regional options on the Infor CRM SLX sign in page. See Signing in to Infor CRM SLX Web Client
  2. Click Sign In.
  3. Set up a Multi-Factor Authentication method or proceed to step 4, if you have already set up an authentication method:
    1. Click Next.
    2. Specify the name of the authentication method in the Name field.
    3. Click the Authentication Method drop down and select a value from the list. The available options are based on what the administrator has implemented. Possible values:
      • Email
      • Authenticator Application
        Note: If you have selected Authentication Application, access the authentication application on the mobile device, add a new account and scan the provided QR code or specify the provided code that displays the QR code.
    4. Click Next.
  4. Complete the authentication process.
    • Email:
      1. Click the Name drop down and select the name of the email authentication method you require to sign in.
      2. Click Send Email code.
      3. Access the email inbox associated with the Infor CRM, using the email address.
      4. Copy the received Multi Factor Authentication code in the TOTP Code field.
      5. Click Continue.
    • Authenticator Application:
      1. Click the Name drop down and select the name of the authenticator application method you require to sign in.
      2. Specify the authentication code displayed in the authenticator application in TOTP Code field.
      3. Click Continue.
