Using the database manager table CRM Details tab

The Tables tab in the Database Manager list view enables the administrator to manage database tables and perform table related tasks. The CRM Details tab in the Detail pane displays table properties and enables the administrator to modify Display Name and Description fields.

Note: The system administrator can only access these features. These features are not available in Oracle environments.

To access the table CRM Details tab:

  1. Select Administration > Database Manager > Tables on the navigation bar. The Tables list view is displayed.
  2. Click the CRM Details tab in the Detail pane.
    Note: If the Detail pane is not displayed, click Detail in the list view toolbar.
  3. View or modify this information:
    Table Name
    The name of the table.
    Note: This value cannot be modified.
    Display Name
    The name of the table to be displayed in the Query Builder.
    Description
    The description of the table.
    Primary Key
    Indicates if this field is a primary key for the table. Each table contains at least one field that is used to ensure each record in the table is unique.
    Note: This value cannot be modified.
    Secondary Key
    Indicates if this field is a secondary key for an associated table. The secondary key is the primary key in the associated table.
    Note: This value cannot be modified.
    Default Global Path
    The subscription ID (account ID) used by the Synchronization server to determine the accounts wherein records are logged.
    Note: This value cannot be modified.
    Create Date
    The date on which the table is created.
    Note: This value cannot be modified.
    Field Level Security
    Indicates if user access to the fields in this table is restricted.
    Note: This value cannot be modified.
    Association
    The primary table associated from the list.
    Note: This value cannot be modified.
    Type
    The relationship between the new table and the primary table. Possible values:
    • One-to-one: A single record in one table is connected with only one related record in another table. For example, a contact is related to only one account.
    • One-to-many: A single record in one table is connected with one or more related records in another table. For example, more than one contact can be associated with an account. However, one contact is always associated.
    Note: This value cannot be modified.
    Modify Date
    The date on which the table is last modified.
    Note: This value cannot be modified.
  4. Click Save.
