Installing Bundles

You can apply Infor CRM SLX bundles from within the Web client. Infor CRM SLX Web bundles are created in the Application Architect and saved with the extension .zip.

Note: The system administrator and users with the required permissions can use this option. This feature is not available for Oracle implementations.

To install a bundle:

Select Install Bundle from the Developer Tools menu.
Click the File name and size folder icon.
Browse to the location of the Infor CRM bundle you require to install in Windows Explorer and click Open.
Click Install Bundle.
Click OK to continue. As the bundle installs, the status displays in the status field.
Click Close when finished. You can close this window at any time after the bundle install has started. The install continues until completion. Once completed you can view the log information.
Note:
- If your bundle contains new or updated entities, you must rebuild the database schema.
- After applying a bundle you must rebuild the Web platform and deploy the Web portal before any changes are available in the Web Client.
- If your implementation is hosted on the Cloud you must first request access to deploy from the Infor CRM Cloud Services team.
