Modifying the MaxExportRecordCount custom setting

You can modify the MaxExportRecordCount custom setting to export groups from list views. The MaxExportRecordCount setting determines the number of records that can be exported to a file. This setting is a global setting for all users.

Note: The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can access these features.

To modify the MaxExportRecordCount custom setting:

  1. Select Administration > Custom Settings on the Navigation bar. The Custom Settings list view page is displayed.
  2. Click the MaxExportRecordCount group.
  3. Click MaxExportRecordCount from the list.
  4. Modify or view this information:
    Category
    The category must be set to Group.
    Key
    The description must be MaxExportRecordCount.
    Note: You cannot modify this information.
    Data Value
    You can specify:
    • The maximum number of records to export from a group.
    • If you do not require to set a maximum limit of records.
    Note: The default value is 65000.
    Data Type
    This field must be blank.
    Version
    The version number to indicate that the data is modified. The version number do not increment automatically.
  5. Click Save.
