What are CRM Workflows?
The CRM Workflow functionality is used to define and execute workflows within the CRM application. The ION Workflows and CRM Workflows use a common configurable workflow trigger mechanism used to launch the workflows based on changes to CRM data content.
CRM Workflows provide the ability to manage the application based approval processes with escalations and/or publish rich-text based email notifications with CRM content.
The workflows support trigger conditions for the primary CRM entities such as Account, Contact, Lead, Opportunity, Quote, Sales Order, Invoice, and Ticket. Additional custom CRM entities are enabled by setting the Expose to workflow entity property in Application Architect.
