Using the Run/Schedule Job window
The Run/Schedule Job windwo enables you to set labels and parameters for the job type you are scheduling. The options available can vary based on the job selected and the location from which you accessed the window.
Note: If the QRTZ tables are deleted or the Core
Portals are redeployed, Custom Job Schedules created in the
application
Web Client, are deleted. However, Job Schedules created in the Application Architect are
not deleted.
You can specify this information in the Run/Schedule Job window:
- Job Name
- Populates the name of the job. This value cannot be modified.
- Description
- Defaults with the current description of the job. You can modify the value in this field.
- Schedule
- Displays the type of schedule.
This
value cannot be modified when you access this from the
Job Manager
Schedules tab.
- runs the job immediately.
- displays options for running the job at a later time, and for recurrence.
- Create Job Schedule to run
- Set a time and recurrence for your job.
- Use the pick lists to modify the time when the job is executed.
- Use to specify dates to start and end the job recurrence.
- Parameters
- All jobs do not require parameters. If parameters are assigned, you can
modify
the parameter values by selecting the row in the grid and specifying the data in
the Value column. Some job types require parameters to run successfully. For
example, Export requires a Group ID.Note: Parameters are an advanced developer function.
