Adding a lead
Use the Insert Lead window to add a new lead to the Infor CRM Web Client.
To add a new lead:
- Select Lead from the New menu.
- Click Edit in the Name field. The Edit Name window is displayed. See Adding or modifying name information
- Complete the remaining lead information fields. See Lead information fields.

Click Look for
Matching Records to search the database for leads, contacts and
accounts that have matching
information.
- If there are no potential matches, click OK to close the window and continue entering lead information.
- If there are potential matches, the Search for Duplicates window is displayed.
- To
perform system search for potential matches in the
future without having to click the Look for
Matching
records, select the Automatically search after Phone
is filled in check box.Note: The Matching Leads window is displayed. If a matching record displays in this window, you can view the matching record to check if the lead, contact, or account is the same as the lead you are entering.

Click
Save to save the
lead and close the view.
Note: To save the lead, and enter a new lead, you can click Save & New.
