Using the Sales Order detail view

Use the Sales Order detail view to view, add, or modify information for a selected record. The detail view consists of information fields, tabs, and a user-defined middle section.

Note: This feature is not available if the implementation includes Accounting Integration. Accounting Integration users can view associated sales orders in the Accounting Sales Orders tab in the Account detail view.

To access the Sales Order detail view, you can click Sales Orders on the Navigation bar, to access the Sales Order list view. If required, use the Lookup to locate a sales order, and click the Sales Order Number.

Information fields

The Sales Order information fields contain the primary information about the sales order. The sales order snapshot displays in the upper section of the detail view as well. Users with appropriate permissions can edit these fields.

Additional information is available if the implementation includes a Back Office Extension. This information is for display only and must be added or edited in the integrated application. For specific questions please refer to the documentation for the integrated application or contact the administrator.
