Managing SpeedSearch Database Indexes tab
Use the SpeedSearch Manager Database Indexes tab to manage SpeedSearch database indexes by admisistrator. There are two types of SpeedSearch indexes, database indexes for records in a database table and file system indexes for documents. For File System Indexes see Managing SpeedSearch file system indexes
Note: The system administrator and users with the appropriate role can
access these features. See What are Roles and Secured Actions?
To access the Database Indexes tab select the Database Indexes tab in the in on the navigation bar.
On this page, you can:
- Click to refresh list information.
- Work with records in a grid. SeeWorking with Grids in list views and tabs.
- Click to hide SpeedSearch details.
- Filter My list. See Using Task Pane filters.
- Create a New Index. See Adding or editing SpeedSearch database indexes
- Edit an Index. See Adding or editing SpeedSearch database indexes
- Delete an index
- Select the schedule you want to delete, in the Task Pane, click , and then click to confirm.
- Configure the SpeedSearch settings. See Configuring SpeedSearch Settings
- Use the detail pane tabs to view and manage database index information:
